About SCS Media
We tell stories with cameras — for businesses figuring out how to show people what they do, and for families who just want to hold onto a moment a little longer.
Why We Do This
A business owner spends years building something — and often struggles to show people what it actually is, or who's behind it. A family collects a lifetime of milestones and wants somewhere to keep them. Neither of those is solved by a louder ad or a trendier post.
It's solved by photography and video that's actually true to the subject — confident, but honest. That's the only kind of work we're interested in making.
How We Work
We're not order-takers, and we're not out to make something just to please ourselves either. Every project starts with understanding what someone is actually trying to communicate — what the project means to them — before a single camera comes out. Someone getting headshots for the first time needs something different from a business shooting its fifth commercial with us. We treat those differently, on purpose.
From there, we bring our own creative judgment to the table. Good work is a balance — your vision, combined with what we've learned behind a camera and a timeline. And once something has our name on it, we hold ourselves to finishing it well: on time, and done right, without letting "perfect" become an excuse to miss a deadline.
Who We Are
Talent is never an excuse for treating someone poorly — a client, a teammate, a vendor. We'd rather work with good people who are still learning than talented people who are hard to be around. That shows up in how a shoot feels, not just in how it looks.
When something goes wrong on a project, we fix it together — no finger-pointing, no passing blame. Every piece of work that goes out carries the same name, so we treat it that way from the first phone call to final delivery.
Cameras change. Platforms change. Editing styles change. We'd rather stay a little uncomfortable and keep improving than get comfortable doing things the way we did them last year.
"The budget changes the scope. It never changes how we treat people."
Every client — whatever the size of the project — gets heard, respected, and taken care of. That's not a tagline. It's just how we operate.
